Donations Policy

 

Egyptophiles often collect books, statues, clothing and souvenirs, and create their own artwork. Eventually they may wish to pass these items to other collectors. AESWA is sometimes offered unsolicited donations of material items. Before emailing us regarding a donation, please note the following conditions:

 

  • AESWA reserves the right to refuse donations.

 

  • Non-fiction books will only be considered if:

  • They are in good condition;

  • Are less than 20 years old.

 

  • Fiction books will not be accepted – please donate to charity.

 

  • Used clothing items will not be accepted.

 

  • Large artworks (over 90cm) will not be accepted.Acceptance or refusal of other artworks will be discussed by the committee.

 

  • Any other donated items must be in good, clean condition, as damaged or broken items cannot be accepted.

 

AESWA reserves the right to either sell or raffle any donations.
